Josiah is a third-generation carpenter and General Contractor with over 30 years experience.  Coming from a history in the construction and remodeling business, Josiah has been groomed for this his entire life.  He started Precourt Remodeling in 2001. Completing projects from Boston, Massachusetts to South Kingstown, Rhode Island.  Specializing in the renovation of bathrooms, finished basements, kitchens and additions and then building his own, new construction home in 2009.

In 2021 a location move and the requests to build more new construction homes, sparked a name change for the company. Precourt Remodeling became PRECOURT BUILDS, INC. The company is a family run business which now includes Josiah’s two sons, Tristan and Kai and wife, Melissa. No detail goes unnoticed as Josiah inspects each project personally, and supervises all projects from the first meeting to the very last.  His hands on approach is exceptional; working closely with his clients to ensure their vision is executed seamlessly.

This third generation contractor has taken pride in his reputation as he is prepares his own sons to carry on superior craftsmanship.
